Best Steakhouse in Navasota

Saw that there was a steakhouse by the livestock auction house and had to stop by. Steak was fresh and perfectly cooked, grits and toast were delicious and the service was exceptional. I didn't even need steak sauce.

The staff were all very lovely, hospitable, and attentive. Myself and my partner went on a Tuesday right at the beginning of the lunch buffet. Food prices are very reasonable. The main food items were meatloaf and fried chicken. The food was tasty as well. The fried chicken had a nice crispy outside but juicy inside. The meatloaf was flavorful and had a nice texture as well. There were 1 or 2 items that could have used just a tiny bit more salt, albeit they were still nice and flavorful, but seeing as there were at least 3 elderly customers around this time, I’m grateful the food isn’t over-salted. The little salad bar looked fresh with nothing old or wilted. I’d look forward to visiting this place again.

Friday, fried fillet catfish, popcorn shrimp, crab cakes, bush puppies, fries, baked beans, rice, gumbo. Complete salad bar, beverage,dessert, strawberry short cake or cobbler. All on an all you can eat buffet. Yep you heard me. All you can eat for less than $20.00. Also can take it with you!! This place gets slammed from lunch time till about 2 when they close just to reopen around 5 for the next rush. First come first served, no reservations. Plenty of parking. A clean restaurant with a smiling while running staff. Really the ladies are as sweet as they can be.. The food is always cooked perfectly. Yes there is a full menu, AND the hamburgers are HUGE !! ALL OF THE FOOD IS MADE FROM SCRATCH, salads are fresh and crispy. They even have fresh hard boiled eggs for the salads!! Unbelievably great find. A real cowboy kitchen, everything home-made. Try the pie! Every dish has been excellent, even a simple burger is better here than anywhere else. Don’t miss this place if you are nearby!
